The cold wind blew against the group as they walked down the pathway to a familiar restaurant.

Alex smiled, while clutching her nephew's arm in earnest." Aren't you excited Connie?! We'll be able to eat some authentic Italian food."

"I wanted Spanish though..." he mumbled to himself. The redhead winced slightly as her grip tightened on his arm to stay silent.

"What was that?"

"Nothing! Nothing at all! I said that I love Italian food." Conroy replied, grinning at her.

Nodding, Alex turned her attention to the couple behind her. Her gaze softened on them as held hands, remaining silent and enjoying the other's company.

She looked at the protruded young man beside her and sighed, " Oh Connie do you always have to make a face?"

"It's not fair Alex. We always do what you want, when will be able to do something I want?" he said dejectedly, placing his hands into his pockets looking at the sky.

The blonde blinked at him then looked at his expression. It was one of calm acceptance and of slight animosity.

"W-why didn't you ever tell me that you felt strongly against the things I say?"

"Because Alex I hate to admit it, but you do frighten me a bit woman."

She stared at him with her eyebrow raised.

"You see! That's what I'm talking about. You're always giving me these looks, so I figure it's safer to just follow you."

"Oh fine. Let's go get some Spanish food." said the little blonde woman.

He stopped short, pulling her beside him.

Alex blinked then asked,"What?"

"Are you being serious?"

"Well why wouldn't I be?"

"Because you never let me win at anything. In all the time I've known you Alex, you've never let me do something that I wanted." Conroy replied, staring at his aunt.

She shrugged, then smiled, "Well in a family, we all have to share. I was just hogging all my sharing time. So let's go get your food. But I still want the boys to go eat without us."

The Irishman nodded, while they both continued to walk. "How do you plan to do that?"

She whispered," I can say that I forgot something at the hotel, and that you want to escort me back. The two of them could go on without us."

"Good plan."

"As always love."

James stared at his friends before him in concern. He turned his head towards his boyfriend in worry," You don't think that they're arguing again do you?"

“They always are James. Don’t worry about it.”

“I don’t know. I just don’t like to see my friends fight a lot.”His blue eyes gazed in concern.

Suddenly the raven haired young man felt his chin being pulled up to look into warm hazel eyes.

“You are very sweet. But let them sort out any conflicts that they have on their own.”

“I suppose you’re right.”

“Then don’t look so glum love. Would a kiss make you feel better?” Kenneth replied softly, caressing the soft cheek before him.

James face reddened slightly before looking at expectantly.

The brunet smiled endearingly, before leaning over to kiss the soft, warm lips he saw. Wrapping his arms around the small, thin waist, Kenneth pulled the other closer into his embrace.

James encircled his arms about the other’s neck shyly, before pulling away smiling, bright red.

Kenneth smirked at him playfully before rubbing their noses together.

“Would you look at that Lex? Not being together one day and already they’re nice and cozy.” Conroy commented, leering at the couple.

Alex smiled gleefully, clapping her hands together in joy. “Oh you two are simply too cute for words!”
Kenneth glared at them, while James hid his blushing face into the other’s chest.

“Knock it off guys. You’re embarrassing us.”

“Us? Embarrass you? Yah right. You both did that all on your own making kissy faces at each other in public.” Conroy said, puckering his lips in a mock kiss.

Alex pushed him to the side, while rolling her eyes. “Oh grow up Connie. I think it’s adorable.”

“You think everything’s cute...”

“Not you!”

“Ouch...your point is?” the Irishman looked bored at her.

“Oh you are so infuriating!!”

Kenneth sighed, “ Are you two done yet?”

The blonde looked back at him glaring, “Don’t bother us.”

“So you’re both just going to stand here yelling at each other?”

“If that bothers you, then I suggest you take James and go eat without us.” Conroy said fiercely, looking determined to finish his argument with his aunt before he ate.

Alex nodded, “Yes...besides I think I just lost my appetite.”

“Good because-”the redhead was interrupted by a brunet cutting between him and the blonde angrily.

“Alright enough! Come on James. Let them argue themselves tired for all I care. I’m sick of it already.” Kenneth said to the blue eyed man.

James sighed sadly, then nodded, “Okay.”

They walked off hand in hand, towards the restaurant alone.

Conroy turned to Alex in surprise. “Wow...brilliant acting Alex!”

“Thanks Connie! You too.” She smiled mischievously.

“I thought we were going to forget stuff at the hotel? What happened to that?”

“I suppose this worked better in our favor. Good improvising dear nephew.” She clapped at him.

He bowed then smiled, “I get it from me mum.”

“You would. Now let’s go get your Spanish food.” Alex said holding out her arm.

Conroy beamed at her and locked arms with her, “ You’re awesome Lex.”

“Thanks Connie...so are you.” They strolled in the opposite direction towards a Spanish restaurant, leaving the other two to ‘bond.’
